Is it worth planning in advance?

I would say some of the time, but when it comes down to weekend trips that involve going out, my plans usually change so most of the time it is not worth planning anything in advance. Well, accomodation and such should be arranged but anything else is always open to change. Last night at Fabric was great, but instead of leaving earlier and going to get some sleep before getting up to get out of the hotel at 11am, I stayed out and never got back to the hotel until 8am.

I was planning on having a few hours sleep, but the next thing I know it was 2pm and we were woken up by the hotel calling our room. We had to pay an extra 30 pounds for getting out of the room late, which is something I have not experienced by a hotel before, normally it is free.

Also because I was in need of more sleep and not feeling too good, combined with the fact it was now 3pm, I decided it was not worth heading to Max Power as it would have been too late by the time I got over there. A good weekend was had, but I was a bit annoyed I never made it to the show but it was my own fault. I'm back home now and heading to bed. So there you have a quick summary of things, but of course a lot was left out because I never know who might read this, for one thing!
