If you're interested in Suse & or use it, you'll be interested to know that you can now get your hands on an ISO image of Suse 9.1 Personal Edition direct from the Suse FTP site.
Worth checking out, if you've got some time to kill.
seems the iso of suse 9.1 isn't complete...no boot disks and if you think you'll be able to boot off the 'burned' cd, no you can't...it seems to be more trouble than it's worth...by the way the iso is over 700 megs...
Posted by: ewerchonowicz at June 22, 2004 08:33 PMActually, the CD is bootable, once you can get it burned. Nero Express wouldn't do it (said it was too big for a 700Mb CD), but Nero did. But it's a crappy distro for doing much - it doesn't have "make"! How can you have Linux without being able to run Makefiles???
